Independent Bookstore Day on April 27

Published

on

Tomorrow is Independent Bookstore Day. While bookstores and libraries can sometimes seem to be competitors, it really is not so. We are partners in providing books to our communities.

Golden Libraries does have a local independent bookstore, Petunia’s Place in Fresno, California. It is very much the place in town to buy books for children, young adults, and others!

And, of course, they have all sorts of events planned.

Please consider supporting Petunia’s or your local independent bookstore by showing up tomorrow for them!

What is your local independent bookstore doing? Tell us in the comments.
