Graduate of University of Michigan and Wayne State University, Amy has been and educator since 1992.  In her 18th year as a school librarian in Metro Detroit, Amy is the recipient of MAME’s (Michigan’s state organization for school librarians) 2020 Award for the Promotion of School Library Media Programs and building Teacher of the Year for 20-21.  SLJ Mover and Shaker: Community Builder winner in 2022. 

A frequent presenter at MAME and MACUL (ISTE affiliate), Amy discovered podcasts could create the same community of collaboration and learning all year long.
