The 2024 California School Library Association Conference will be held on January 25-28 in Orange County, California, at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa. This conference is the premier professional learning event for school library staff in California.
The cost for CSLA members is now $395 and for non-members, it is $495.
Guest speakers this year include:
- Dr. Maryanne Wolf. Dr. Wolf is the Director of the Center for Dyslexia, Diverse learners, and Social Justice at the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies; and
- Dr. Claudette McLinn. Dr. McLinn is the Founder and Executive Director of the Center for the Study of Multicultural Children’s Literature (CSMCL).
As part of the conference, CSLA is offering certification as an Instructional Media Resource Associate. This is valuable training and certification for classified library media technicians. The current cost is $200.
