Welcome to 2025!

With the advent of this new year, you will begin to see some changes to the website. Now that it has been around a while, there is a much greater sense at what works and what does not; what is of interest and what is not.

Below is some of the thinking and I readily admit that there are some parts of this that will already be obvious as of this post but other parts that will be forthcoming. These changes include:

• More videos. A larger focus on what is clearly our most popular posts, the Book Flood Podcasts. This will include greater use of video, mostly shorter than the podcast. If you look at our YouTube Channel, you can see we have been experimenting there to very positive results.

• Fewer Categories. Looking across the top, it appears that the website has been trying to be all thing to all people. Some of that could easily be in our general Resources category and some could just go away (and no one would ever notice).

• Greater connection to Authors and Books. You will shortly see a greater focus on authors and books, some from the website and some from others already doing well.

• “Secret changes still to come.” Just as it sounds, some newness coming to this website.
